Cairo Airport VIP Transfers & Private Luxury Cars

A pre-booked transfer fixes the price before you land and puts a named driver inside the arrivals hall instead of a negotiation in the car park. We cover Cairo International and Sphinx International, plus Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, with a chauffeured fleet and drivers who work for us rather than a dispatch app.

We hold vehicles and drivers in each of these cities, not just Cairo, and have representatives in Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab. That matters for long transfers and for late arrivals, where a car dispatched from another governorate is the difference between a wait and a pickup.

Two Airports, and Which One You Are Landing At

Cairo has two international airports on opposite sides of the city, and they are ninety minutes apart in traffic. Most long-haul flights land at Cairo International (CAI), east of the centre; Sphinx International (SPX) sits west, near the pyramids, and handles far fewer routes. Check the three-letter code on your ticket before you book a transfer — arriving at one and being met at the other is the most common transfer mistake there is, and it costs an hour and a half. If your itinerary starts in Giza, SPX is closer; for everything else, CAI is the practical gateway.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there two airports in Cairo?

Yes. Cairo International (CAI) is the main gateway, with three terminals. Sphinx International (SPX), west of the city near the Giza pyramids, handles a much smaller number of flights. They sit on opposite sides of Cairo — check which one your ticket shows.

Cairo International is roughly 45 km from the Giza plateau. Allow 60 to 90 minutes by car. Cairo traffic, not distance, is what makes the timing unpredictable — the same trip can vary by half an hour depending on the hour.

Uber operates in Cairo and serves the airport, but drivers cannot always enter the terminal pick-up areas, so meeting points can be confusing after a long flight. A pre-booked transfer meets you inside arrivals with a name board.

Cairo International’s arrivals hall is busy and heavily touted. A pre-booked driver removes the negotiation, fixes the price before you land, and matters most on late-night arrivals — a significant share of long-haul flights from Europe and North America land after midnight.

Airport fares are negotiated rather than metered, and shift with fuel prices, the time of day and how hard you bargain — so the figure you are quoted on arrival is rarely the figure the last passenger paid. A pre-booked transfer fixes the price before you land, which is the point of booking one.
